Chianti Wine Tour

Tuscany is one of the most known in Italy and in the world for the production of wines. Explore the beautiful Tuscany and taste its products. The Chianti region is Tuscany's wine-making powerhouse. Discovering the area provides a chance to visit wine-makers for tastings and enjoying the Tuscan countryside with its beautiful views and historical sites. The Chianti Classico area is better defined than many of its counterparts, due mostly to boundaries delineated by Cosimo III de’ Medici in the eighteenth century, which he drew to create a clear area for wine producers here. But the Tuscan fashion, today’s towns’ relationships feel more rooted in shared history than strict geography. The most expansive subsection of the greater Chianti area, the Chianti Classico is perhaps best described as the heart of Tuscany, spanning the hilly lands between Florence and Siena and encompassing parts of both provinces.          Download PDF Discover Chianti

Culture

In Buenos Aires, art and culture is everywhere: the sculptures in parks, the Latin American masterpieces in galleries and museums, or the tango melodies that soar out of a cafe's window... But to understand and feel it, there is nothing better than meeting the artisans of this creative world. Jujuy is the northernmost province of Argentina, bordering Chile and Bolivia. The Quebrada de Humahuaca houses small villages that have recently been declared World Heritage by the UNESCO. Its surroundings offer the possibility to immerse yourself in the culture and legacy of the local populations, brought here centuries ago by their Incan ancestors at the height of their expansion from Peru towards the South.

Emotions

Italy hosts unique and fascinating events of international resonance, providing innumerable opportunities for experiencing intense emotions. Art exhibitions are inspired by over a thousand years of heritage, and events such as the Venice Biennale with its design and contemporary art focus, are flanked and alternate with theater and ballet performances. For music lovers, the festivals and opera seasons offered by Milan’s La Scala and the Verona Arena are unique. Italy is a synonym for music and art in every form. It offers also a wide range of traditional and modern cultural events, such as literary festivals or the many Carnivals held, most famous in Venice, but also in many other towns, such as Viareggio, and the various historical and religious representations that fill Italy with fantasy and vitality throughout the year.

Italy

Italy is known for its unparalleled mix of wonderful landscapes, rich cultural history, fabulous food and wine and of course for its friendly and outgoing people. Walkers and trekkers are spoil for choice, with any number of beautiful regions to discover. From the Roman Empire to the Medicis; from Fellini to Rossellini; from Michelangelo to Botticelli; Italy has it all. From the snow-capped peaks of the high Alps in the north to the lava strewn slopes of Vulcan Etna in the south and the rugged, beach-fringed island of Sardinia to the west, there are countless opportunities for walking and trekking holidays in Italy. There are numerous choices in the Italian Alps, including the spectacular, pale silver Dolomites in the north-east, which were declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2009. Famous for their near vertical cliffs and spires, which make them arguably the most spectacular string of mountain peaks in Europe, the Dolomites attract walkers, trekkers and climbers from all over the world.                                               Download PDF
